I served with Fr Beiting and got to spend time with Jimmy on a daily basis. He might have tried to pretend he was all grouch and didn't care sometimes but when I needed someone to talk to, or text, he was always there despite having to pay extra on his phone bill. He helped me fight homesickness with stories of when the people I love had served here in the past. Even when he had a fire and lost everything he didn't give up and was overwhelmed by the people who cared and gave to help him get back on his feet. He was a great friend and will be missed. Until we meet again someday, Jimmy, I am happy you will be there with Fr B.
