I sat and watched this sweet video and just cried. I am so very thankful to have been a part of this family! Cousins are your very first best friends! God sure blessed us with good ones! As I watched....you just can't help notice the smiles, they joyfulness, and the love! "Douglas Parker" had a way of making you laugh....you knew you were loved when you were around him! I will always treasured time spent around the Parker kitchen table... listening to stories, singing, and telling jokes. There were also times of sharing sadness and heavy hearts around that table...it's where we came to spend time with those we cared so much about! What was important is that there was always love! My growing up years, I was blessed to be included in the Parker family vacations. Many funny things happened during our travel time ....and at the beach! I looked forward to summer breaks and being able to spend time with my Parker family! I remember traveling with mom and dad and my brothers on visits to Kentucky. That was big time for us and we could hardly wait to get there. That time together will be forever etched in my mind! Those memories are a treasure indeed. I am forever grateful for the family God gave me! Douglas Parker --thank you for being such a special part of my life. You are loved and you will be forever missed!
