Wanda and I shared two grandchildren, Krista and Ryan Counts. You never in your life will meet a kinder, sweeter, more loving, generous and caring person than Wanda Sue Gibson. For 14 years she was Ryan and Krista's baby sitter while their mother worked. My daughter, Joyce, could go to work know that her children were cared for in such a loving atmosphere . Even after they didn't need a babysitter, Ryan and Krista would frequently get off the school bus at Wanda's house. Of course, they never stopped there that Wanda didn't feed them. According to Ryan, no one could cook like Mama Wanda. Believe me when I tell you I have tried multiple times only to hear Ryan say, "That's not like Mama Wanda makes it."
Wanda faced many health problems over the past few years but she never let the weight of her circumstances cripple her spiritually or emotionally. She was a wonderful christian lady who faced the storms of life with dignity, courage and faith. The earth has lost and heaven has gained an incredible woman of God.
On Wednesday, April 1st, 2020, Wanda walked into the loving embrace of her Savior. Wanda met Jesus face to face
