Obituary of Frances Fayetta York

Frances Fayetta York 78 of Lebanon, Ohio formerly of Louisa went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2012 following a brief illness. Fayetta was born January 12, 1934 in Louisa, the daughter of the late Hubert and Katherine Sword Fleming Cooksey. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Andy York and her step father Heston Cooksey Sr. Fayetta was a retired Registered Nurse. Survivors include her children Vance A. York, Kathryn “Katy” S. Harris and Mark A. York; brothers Heston Cooksey Jr. and James K. Cooksey and wife Carol; sisters Fern Schrickel and husband Carl, and Patsy Orlovsky and husband Tom; grandchildren Sarah York Mikesell, Elizabeth York, Martha York, Julie Walls, Samantha Harris, Robert York, Amanda York, Katelynn York, and Andrew York and eight Great Grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday December 27th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Jimmy Cooksey. Burial followed in the Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Center in honor of Mrs. Frances Fayetta York.
