James Chadwick Carter 76 of Louisa, KY passed away Friday May 8, 2020 at the Three Rivers Medical Center following a long illness.

James was born March 23, 1944 at Adams, KY, the son of the late Billy and Opal Hackney Carter. He was a retired Lawrence County Road Department Heavy Equipment Operator and served in the United States Army.

Survivors include a brother Thomas "Mickey" Carter and wife Mary; and a sister Doris Ann Abrams; and several nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service will be held at the Castle Cemetery Blaine, KY at a later date.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
