Obituary of Carol L. Davis

Carol L. Davis, 76, of Fort Gay, WV passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Davis was born January 18, 1944 in Morgantown, WV to the late Milton and Hazel Cline Lycan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dr. Charles Sidney Davis, , and one brother, Earl Bert Lycan.

She is survived by her husband, Norman Davis; one daughter, Amy (Kyle) Bellomy, two sisters,Linda Barnett, and Margaret Clark;  two granddaughters, Shelby Marie Bellomy and Lindsey Grace Bellomy, and several nieces & nephews.

She was a Retired Home Economics Teacher for Fort Gay High School. She loved her grandkids, she loved to cook and bake, and working in her flowers.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa, KY with Rev. Scott Byard and Rev. Tony Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Lycan-Loar Cemetery at Fort Gay, WV.  Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, May 27 from 6-9 PM at Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
