Obituary of Eddie Ray Burchett

Eddie Ray Burchett, 71, of Louisa, KY passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020. Burchett was born August 27, 1948 in Louisa, Kentucky to the late Lee and Violet Hylton Burchett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Edna Webb and one brother, Leroy Burchett.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Burchett; two brothers, Odis Burchett and Arnold Burchett; four sisters, Joyce Burchett, Lorene Hackney, Cynthia Horn, and Mary Fannin; two step-daughters, Tina (Dave) Wilks and Sherry (Ricky) Boyce, three granddaughters, Melissa (Cody) Payne, Shelby Sams, and Olivia Boyce; and two  grandsons, George Gary Howell and Aaron McKinster.  He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.

He was a Janitor for Foodland.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Vanhoose and Rev. Ronnie Childers officiating. Burial will follow in the Burchett Cemetery on Morgans Creek.  Friends may visit the family on Monday, June 22 from 6-9 PM at Wilson Funeral Home.
