To some my dad may have seemed hard but he had a heart of Gold, he truly did. You see, I wasn't born a Moore but I might as well have been, because this man raised me for 38 years of my life. He loved and protected me like any father would do. I followed him everywhere when I was little and he absolutely loved that! He took me trapping for furs, flea marketing, feeding the animals, literally everywhere, I was his sidekick. When we would go places, he would introduce me as his daughter, not (step) and folks would say, Wow, she looks just like you! He got the biggest kick outta that! He and my mom Flea marketed and that's how they got their start. It was rough but he worked his way up and was able to open a shop. That shop, G & R Gun and Pawn came to be one of the most lucrative, if not THE most Lucrative business in the Lawrence County Ky area, for many years. That's a HUGE accomplishment! I was and am so very proud of him. This man was born with a disability but never ever filed for disability, instead he worked and worked hard to make it. He not only was my dad but he was my babies pappy. He loved them with everything in him, I could see it when he looked at them. He might have not been our biological dad and pappy, but to him we were his everything and that's all that mattered. There's a hole in my heart, a void that will never be filled again. Life will never be the same, that's for sure. I was so very blessed to have had this man in my life and I thank God for him, always. Rest easy, dad, Your work on earth is done.
We Love you, always, Daddy
Miss your, forever.
Love your daughter,
Merida Renee
