Carolyn Cyrus, 78, of Flatwoods, KY passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 at Kings Daughters Medical Center. Mrs. Cyrus was born August 1, 1942 in Louisa, Kentucky to the late Huelly and Eula McKenzie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Randall Cyrus, son, Mark Cyrus, and her sisters, Noretta Roberts and Carrie Robinette. 

She is survived by her son, Phillip (Susan) Cyrus; daughter, Cindy (Shane) Thomas; sister, Joann McKenzie; grandson, Joseph (Micah) Thomas, grandson, Jacob Thomas, grandson, Josh (Mary) Cyrus, grandson, Jason (Heather) Cyrus, granddaughter, Kayrn Cyrus, grandson, Jonathon Cyrus, and grandaughter, Miranda Pierce; brother-in-law, Scott Cyrus; and sister-in-law, Nola Wellman. She also leaves behind twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.                           

She was a Homemaker. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2PM on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Cyrus Cemetery at Louisa. Friends may visit the family on Friday, October 23 after 11 AM until the time of services at Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
