Obituary of John Harvey Fugitt

John Harvey Fugitt, 69, of Louisa, KY passed away Friday, November 6, 2020. Harvey was born July 10, 1951 in Louisa, KY to the late Millard Maxwell and the late Gladys Wellman Fugitt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris Fugitt, one brother, Melvin Scisco Fugitt, one stepson, Rex Fields, and brother-in-law, Leo Holley. 

He is survived by two sons, John Ryan (Jessica) Fugitt and John Harvey (Mackenzie) Fugitt, Jr.; two daughters, Amanda (Anthony) McCarty and Angie (Rocky) Hicks; four brothers, Millard "Mack" (Sandy) Fugitt, Jr., David (Barbara) Fugitt, Phillip Fugitt, and Allen Fugitt; six sisters, Mary (Jack) Roberts, Shirley (James) Newsome, Leona (Kenny) Nagel, Roberta Newsome, Joy Holley, and Margaret Hall; two step-daughters, Pam (Bobby) Burton and Teresa Brown.  He also leaves behind fifteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.                              

He was a Grader Operator for Lawrence County Road Department. Harvey would also like to let everyone know he was a Donald Trump fan. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the Fugitt - Wellman Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Monday, November 9 from 6-9 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
