Walter Herman Abshire, 84, of Hazel Park, MI passed away Monday, November 23, 2020. Mr. Abshire was born July 5, 1936 in Lookout, Kentucky to the late William Jennings and Edith Dixon Abshire.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Abshire, one son, David (Cathy) Abshire; one daughter, Brenda Moses; one brother, Jack Abshire; three sisters, Revia Stewart, Matilda Young, and Linda Shannon; two granddaughters, Jennifer Abshire and Stephanie (Drew) Bush; two grandsons, Stephen (Ashton) Moses and Joshua Abshire; one great-granddaughter, Raelynn Bush; and one great-grandson, Wyatt Moses; and several nieces & nephews.

He was a Truck Driver.

Private funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Willie Gene Hayes officiating. Entombment will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. A private visitation will be held on Friday, November 27 at Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
