Obituary of Emma Jean Thompson

Emma Jean Thompson, 71, of Louisa, KY passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston, WV. Mrs. Thompson was born July 20, 1949 in Louisa, Kentucky to the late Clayton and Mary Farris Calhoun. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Orville Calhoun and five sisters, Audrey Wheat, Arzie Wellman, Martha Blankenship, Stella Calhoun, and Margaret Russell.

She is survived by two brothers, Ray (Jackie) Calhoun and Earl Calhoun, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

She was a Caregiver.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Yatesville Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, December 17 from 10am until the time of services at Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
