Newman “Paw” Roberts, age 79, of Louisa went to be with his Lord on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Three Rivers Medical Center of Louisa, KY. Newman was born January 6, 1934 in Louisa, KY. He is the son of the late Ercell and the late Ada Mae (Clay) Roberts. He was a retired Calgon Corp. E & I Maintance Technician with 23 years of service, a member and honorary deacon at the Lighthouse FWB Church and a Kentucky Colonel. He is survived by his wife: Toby(Compton) Roberts and three daughters: Robin (Karl) Adkins of Louisa, KY, Kim (Rick) Chaffins of Louisa, KY, Suzie (Jamie) Harlan of Nashville, TN; Brother of one sister: Mona (Ross) Chaffin of Louisa, KY and two brothers: Lofton (Vera) Roberts of Columbus, OH, Jack (Mary) Roberts of Louisa, KY; He also has six grandchildren Annie (John) Johnson, Aaron (Laura Beth) Adkins, Adam Chaffins, Michael Akers, Jesse Harlan, and Joey Harlan. Predeceased by his Father, Ercell Roberts, Mother, Ada Mae Clay, brother, Bill Roberts, brother, Ralph Roberts. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Sunday, January 27 at Wilson Funeral Home Inc., 1270 Hwy 2565, Louisa, KY with Revs. Jim Bevins, Greg Caudill, Bert Hall and Clifford Austin officiating.
