Obituary of Betty Jane Stone

Betty Jane Stone, 82, of Louisa, KY passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at her home.  Betty was born September 19, 1938 at Blaine, KY, the daughter of the late Proctor and Tabitha Cantrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Cantrell and three sisters, Louise Wheeler, Anel Lee Cantrell, and Elnora Price. 

She was converted February 19, 1956 and a faithful member of the Brushy Fork United Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by four sisters, Nancy (Ernest) Cordle of Sunbury, OH, Laura Perry of Blaine, KY, Frances (Steve) Nunn of Marana, AZ, and Carolyn (Henry) Thompson of Louisa, KY; two children, she loved as her own, Rebecca Ann Spradlin and Dustin Slone; and three grandchildren, Charly Jane, Will Lynch, and Silas Slone. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 12pm at Wilson Funeral Home with Elders Keith Wells, Frank Blevins, and Daris Lewis officiating.  Burial will follow in the Cantrell Cemetery, Rt. 201, Blaine, KY. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, December 31 from 10am until the services at Wilson Funeral Home.  All care and final arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
