Patsy,
I was Selena's teacher at Lagonda in 1979-81. I will never forget Selena's beautiful smile, enthusiasm for learning, and joyful spirit.Each morning I would be sleepily sitting at my desk and then she'd be the first to arrive, giving one big push to enter the room, stopping, tilting her head and blessing me with that infectious smile. At that moment, I was energized to begin the day! I also remember your kindness to me, and the Thanksgiving meal you invited me to share in your home. Somewhere in my stacks of photos I have photos of our class, and I hope to find them soon to send to you.
I remember so well what a loving mother you were to Selena. It was that love that she reflected back to everyone who met her. I am so sorry for your loss.
