Obituary of John Elliot Hill

John Elliot Hill, 83, of Martha, KY passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Mr. Hill was born December 1, 1937 in Relief, Kentucky to the late Lundy and Lizzie Cantrell Hill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Carol Jean Gillum Hill, two sisters, Geneva Fyffe and Pauline Craft, one grandson, Colten Robertson, and one great grandson, A.J. Hill. 

He is survived by three sons, Eddie (Missy) Hill, Andy (Stacey) Hill, and Bobby Hill; six daughters, Debbie (Harry) Gunsenhouser, Kimberly (Bobby) Powers, Johnda (Randy) Barnett, Caroletta (Darrell) Hunt, Misty (Brandon) Robertson, Christy (Casey) May; six brothers, Clay (Delores) Hill, Newell B. Hill, James (Wanda) Hill, Eugene (Tia) Hill, Stanley (Sherry) Hill, and Tony (Pam) Hill; and one sister, Geraldine (Donald) Hill.  He also leaves behind twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. 

He was a self-employed Landscaper.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1PM on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Blaine Church and Outreach in Blaine, KY with Rev. Chuck Bailey and Rev. Larry Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the Ferguson Cemetery at Terryville. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, January 21 after 6 PM at the Blaine Church and Outreach. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
