Obituary of Guyer Marion Priode
Guyer Marion Priode, 95, of Louisa, KY passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021.
Mr. Priode was born July 14, 1925 in Williamson, West Virginia to the late Guyer Newton and the late Effie Lorene Chaffins Priode. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two wives, Edith Spillman Priode and Virginia Carter Priode and a brother, Charles Franklin Priode.
He is survived by two sons, Marion Francis (Janet) Priode and Lewis Carey (Connie) Priode; one brother, Jack Priode; one step-daughter, Sue (Buck) Holley; three step-sons, Ronald, Carter, and Brett Moore; three grandsons, Seth (Amy) Priode, John (Jennifer) Priode, and David (Stacy) King; one granddaughter, Ashley Priode; three great-grandsons, Liam Priode, Mattox Priode, and Oliver Priode; and two great- granddaughters, Piper Priode and Evan King.
He was a Retired Carpenter and Lather, a member of Savage Memorial United Methodist Church, a WW II U.S. Navy Veteran.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Yatesville Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, February 9 from 6-8 PM at Wilson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
