Obituary of Wilma E. Sturgill

Wilma E. Sturgill, 85, of Lakeland, FL passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Mrs. Sturgill was born April 10, 1935 in Martha, Kentucky to the late Ray and Jewel Fannin Evans. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Sturgill.

She is survived by one son, Keith (Carolyn) Sturgill; one daughter, Shauna (Donald) Trimble; one granddaughter, Andrea (Jason) Drinkwater; two grandsons, Ryan (Sacha) Sturgill and Shane Sturgill and girlfriend, Jessica; three great-grandsons, Daulton Drinkwater, Dominick Drinkwater, and Jaxon Sturgill; and two great-granddaughters, Rylan Sturgill and Baylee Hatfield.

She was an Assistant Postmaster for the Martha Post Office.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Emmitt Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the Sturgill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, February 23 from 6-9 PM at Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
