Jimmy Ray Bentley, age 54, of Louisa died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at VA Medical Center of Huntington, WV. Jimmy was born November 13, 1958 in Elyria, OH. He is the son of the late David and the late Madeline (Hammonds) Bentley.
He served in the Army from 9/20/1981 to 9/19/84. He worked in Telecommunications.
He is survived by one daughter: Desira ( Matthew) Colvin of Palms, CA and two sons: Caleb Bentley of Louisa, KY, Jarrett Bentley of Dunlow, WV; Brother of two sisters: Patricia Sparks of Louisa, KY, Regina Chaney of Louisa, KY;. grandmother, Alley Bentley of Louisa, KY; Great Aunt, Dorothy Pope and family of Louisa, KY; Uncle, Bennie Hammond and family of Louisa, KY; niece, Laikan Lester; nephew, Devin Pack.
Predeceased by his brother, Terry Bentley.
The funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Friday, February 1 at Wilson Funeral Home 1270 Hwy 2565, Louisa, KY. Burial will be in Foster Cemetery, Louisa, KY
Calling hours will be Friday, February 1 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home 1270 Hwy 2565, Louisa, KY.
