Obituary of Phyllis Ann Shannon

Phyllis Ann Pack Shannon died Sunday morning, March 28^th., 2021, at the home of her granddaughter, Shanda Adkins.  She was born Jan. 12^th., 1935, the youngest daughter of Hubert B. and Lucy R. (Parks) Pack, siblings, S. Christine P. Whiten, Norman Pack, M. Irene P. Spears, Novile K. Pack, and Wilma Jean (Toots) P.N. Ryland. She was preceded in death by her parents, all five siblings, her husband, James Cleon Shannon, and son, Jerry Lee Shannon. 

She is survived by daughter, Theresa L. West (Eddie), son, Jim Shannon (Marsha), grandson, Jeremiah D, (Eva) West, Shanda D.W. (Henry) Adkins, great-grandsons, Jaden R. Adkins and Noah K. West, great-granddaughter, Kendall D. Adkins, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and a special friend, Rachel Roberts. 

She was a longtime owner/operator of Pack’s Flowers in Highbottom.

Graveside services will be conducted by Reverend Ric Frazier at 1pm on Thursday, April 1^st. at the Shannon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toward funeral expenses.  All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
