Cecil Franklin “Mitt” Parsley 80 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away on April 23, 2021.

Cecil was born April 30, 1940 on Jennies Creek in Wayne County West Virginia. He is preceded in death by his parents Willard and Alsie Damron Parsley, and a brother Charles Parsley.

Cecil served in the United States Army during Vietnam, aside from being a master mechanic he was a retired coal miner for Marrowbone Development. He was an active member of the U.M.W.A. Cecil was also a member of the Church of Christ in Fort Gay, WV.

Cecil is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Karen Gillman Parsley; two daughters Andrea Parsley of Louisa and Erica Buckholz of Ashland, KY, two granddaughters Laikin Parsley and Alexis Daniels; one sister Irene Romans and one brother Eugene Parsley.

Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday April 27th at 11:00 am at the Riverview Memorial Gardens at Louisa, KY. Full military honors will be given at the cemetery.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
