Obituary of Corey Dustin Scaggs

Corey Dustin Scaggs, 39, of Louisa, KY passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at his home. Corey was born April 22, 1982 in Ashland, Kentucky to Larry and Sharon Spurlock Scaggs. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fred and Dorothy Spurlock, paternal grandparents, James and Nola Scaggs, two uncles, Jim Spurlock and Alger Maxie, and two cousins, Colton Robertson and Landon Nix.

He is survived by his father, Larry Scaggs and mother Sharon (Spurlock) Scaggs; one brother, Christopher Scaggs; two sisters, Carrie Scaggs and Carolyn Stalvey; three nephew, Charlie Fletcher, Benjamin Scaggs, and Jakob Bailey; two nieces, Chloe Jude and Madison Bailey; several cousins, nieces, uncles, & aunts; and a special friend, Randy Woods.

He was a health care worker.
