Obituary of Della Frances Wilson

Della Frances Wilson 90 of Mt. Vernon, Ohio passed away Thursday June 24, 2021, following a brief illness.

Della was born September 17, 1930, at Glenhayes, WV, the daughter of the late Lizzie James Lycons. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Hugh Ed Wilson who died December 8, 1982.

Della was a retired cafeteria employee at the Brookhaven High School with 20 years of service. She was member of the Mazie Road United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of the Eastern Star, and was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Survivors include three sons Jack Wilson and wife Blanch of Fort Wayne, IN, Larry Wilson and wife Bonnie of Lancaster, OH, and Ron Wilson and wife Sherri of Caledonia, OH; a close friend John Ranvarger; 7 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday June 29th at 12:00 pm at the John H. Wilson Cemetery Louisa, KY. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday June 29th from 11:00 am to Noon at the Wilson Funeral Home 1270 Highway 2565 Louisa, KY.
