Obituary of Luke Kitchen

Luke Kitchen, 84, of Louisa, KY passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021. Mr. Kitchen was born February 20, 1937 in Gladys, Kentucky to the late John and Lora Hughes Kitchen.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Billy Kitchen, Tommy Kitchen, Willie Kitchen, Wendell Kitchen, and James Kitchen; and two sisters Icel Bell Crank and Betty Porter.

He is survived by his wife, Rebekah Fay Kitchen; two daughters, Lora Jane (Jim) Scott and Sharon Kay (Don) Johnson; one brother, Johnny (Judy) Kitchen; one sister, Syrilda Dixon; two grandsons, Brandon Scott and Jason (Heather) Johnson; one granddaughter, Andrea (Jim) Driskell; two great grandsons, Lincoln Hurst Johnson and Caleb Shields; and one great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Shields. 

He was a Farmer.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Copley and Rev. Jerry Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the Kitchen Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, July 31 from 6-9 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
