Obituary of Anna Lou Murphy

Anna Lou Murphy 80 of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2021 following a brief illness.

Anna was born September 22, 1940, at Martha, KY the daughter of the late Glennis D. and Grace Fyffe Sturgill. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers Harold Sturgill and Kenneth “Cork” Sturgill.

Anna was a legal secretary for the VanAntwerp Attorneys, LLC for many years and enjoyed watching game shows on the television and reading.

Survivors include two sons James Michael Murphy and John Patrick Murphy; three grandchildren Sean Michael Murphy, Evin Patrick Murphy, and Megan Elizabeth Murphy; a great-grandson Dalton Murphy; and a sister Kay Cordle and husband Ronnie.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday August 3^rd at 11:00 am at the Elizabeth Church Martha, KY with Rev. Keith Sturgill and Rev. Emmitt Barker officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sturgill Cemetery at Martha, KY. Friends may visit the family on Monday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
