Obituary of Ralph Robertson

Ralph Robertson, 85, of Fort Gay, WV passed away Monday, August 16, 2021. Ralph was born August 20, 1935 in Fort Gay, West Virginia to the late William and the Ivory Jackson Robertson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Robertson, who died on March 18, 2017, two sons, Ralph Dale and Darrell Robertson, two daughters, Debra Lynn Robertson and Sharon Lockart, and one grandson, Anthony Robertson.  

He is survived by three daughters, Bonnie (Dean) Wilcoxon, Linda (Steve) Maynard, and Pamela (Mike) Thompson; a daughter-in-law Roberta Robertson; two brothers, Eugene Robertson and Archie Robertson; one sister, Doris Thompson; twelve grandchildren, Jennifer Wilcoxon, Jessica (Joey) Hardin, Mike Hager,  Michele (Charles) Johnson, Michael Robertson, Ashley (Joey) Clay, Tyler (Amanda) Maynard, Shawn (Sue) Thompson, Cassie (Mike) May, Randi (Maggie) Thompson, Brian Thompson, and Brittany Thompson; two very special friends, Virgil & Margaret Robertson; two special nephews and nieces, Carl (Ava) Hardwick and Greg & Dean Hardwick; twenty-one great-grandchildren;  and two great-great grandchildren.    

He was a Carpenter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Oak Grove Church in Fort Gay, WV with Rev. Mack Ray Cyrus officiating. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, August 18 after 5:00 PM at the Oak Grove Church. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
