Betty Jean Hammonds, age 78, of Webbville, died Friday, January 13, 2012 at home in Webbville. Betty was born April 29, 1933 in Hitchen, KY. She is the daughter of the late Sylvia Savage . She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis Herbert Hammonds who died in 2008. She was a Homemaker. She is survived by four daughters: Sylvia Wellman of Webbville, KY, Peanut Daniels of Blaine, KY, Phyllis Tackett of Columbus, OH, Sharon Brown of Webbville, KY and one son: John D Hammonds of Willard, KY; she also has nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and a step great great grandson; son-in-law, Don Daniels of Blaine, KY; son-in-law, Andre Tackett of Columbus, OH; step son, Tony Belcher; The funeral was held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 16, 2012 at Cherokee Freewill Baptist Church, Webbville, KY with Rev. David Boggs officiating. Burial followed in Kitchen Cemetery, Willard, KY.
