Obituary of Rita Jean Howard

Rita Jean Howard 74 of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Saturday September 11, 2021 at the University of Louisville Jewish Hospital following a brief illness.

Rita was born June 12, 1947 at Columbus, Ohio the daughter of the late David Edward and Mary Kroy Hougland. She was a Dog Groomer and member of the Louisa Community Fellowship Church.

Survivors include her loving husband John David Howard; two daughters Samantha VanHoose and husband Roger, and Teresa Ratliff; two sons Travis Howard and Jimmy Ratliff; a sister Ruth Yocum, Several Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews; and a Host of Friends and Family.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Sept. 15^th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday Sept. 14^th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
