Obituary of Vanessa Lynn Keen

Vanessa Lynn Keen, 55, of Pikeville, KY passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at her home following an extended illness. Vanessa was born March 13, 1966 in Marion, Ohio to Doris Pennington Frasher. She was preceded in death by her sister, Denise Layne.

She is survived by her mother Doris (Pennington) Frasher; her husband, Allen Keen; two sons, Travis (Angie) Keen and Steve Keen;  two brothers, Claude (Bridget) Layne and Richard (Kristie) Layne; one sister, Honor Wirth; one grandson, Chase (Allyson) Keen; one great-granddaughter, Elena Keen; another grandchild on the way; and several nieces and nephews who she loved very much.

She was a Secretary & Bookkeeper.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 27th at 11 AM at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Yatesville Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, September 26th. from 6-9 PM at Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.»(Do not delete this line.
