Obituary of James Edward Scott

James Edward Scott, 55, of Fort Gay, WV passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021. James was born September 14, 1966 in Fairfax, Virginia to the late Melvin Lee Scott and Opal Mae Ward Scott.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Robertson Scott; his mother Opal (Ward) Scott; four brothers, Bobby Ray (Sandy) Scott, Melvin (Lisa) Scott II, Danny (Ronnie) Scott, and Chris (Lisa) Scott; two sisters, Eunice (Steve) Leonard and Carol (Scott) Riffle; and  host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.

He was a retired custodian for the Army Corp of Engineers.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at the Scott Cemetery in Fort Gay, WV with Rev. Scott Riffle officiating.
