Obituary of Wanda Kay Chaffin

Wanda Kay Chaffin 75 of Fort Gay, WV passed away October 21, 2021, at Three Rivers Medical Center following a brief illness.

Wanda was born January 21, 1946, at Webb. WV the daughter of the late Frank and Oma Copley Williamson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Dayton Williamson and a sister Frankie Koffman.

She was the manager for Dee’s Drive Inn for 24 years.

Survivors include her loving husband Jim Chaffin; two sons Rod Chaffin and Ronald Chaffin; four grandsons Thomas (Angela) Chaffin, Anthony Chaffin, Gabriel Chaffin, and Garrick Chaffin; and two sisters Connie Williamson and Rebecca Pertee; two sister-in-laws Delsea Evans and Beulah Chaffin; and a brother-in-law Charles Chaffin.

Funeral services will be held on Monday Oct. 25^th at 11:30 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Darrin Fetheroff officiating. Burial will follow in the Chaffin Family Cemetery at Fort Gay, WV. Friends may visit the family on Monday Oct. 25^th from 10:30 am until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.
