Obituary of Billie Jo Heskett

Billie Jo "B.J." Heskett, 43, of Louisa, KY passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Three Rivers Medical Center. Mrs. Heskett was born September 13, 1978 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Billy and the late Linda Fuller Heskett.

She is survived by her wife, Delora Heskett; one son, Gage Heskett; one sister, Tiffany Heskett; one step-son, Brody Matney; step-father, Robert Baisden; three nieces Shay (Amber) Rice, Arianna Bowen, and Kaylee Bowen; four nephews, Taylor (Shawnee) Rice, Ethan Heskett, Keagan Heskett, and Tristan Hannah; and a host of Aunts & Uncles. 

My sister..she was always the life of the party when we were in school an even as adults..to know her was to love her..she acted ruff around the edges cause what life had thrown at us..but was one of the most giving people an such a kind heart and soul! When it came to me and the kids there literally wasn’t nothin she wouldn’t do..don’t care how many miles she was whether she be in Florida ..Baltimore wherever she’d pack up an come to us ..from the time I had amber (Shae) as she called her..my babies were as her own never treated them just as a niece or nephew!! My sis will be missed by so many especially my kids an me...as she always said..she’s with our dad which I know has her tickled to see him an my mamaw Jean an prolly shocked to see my mom cause I don’t think she really understood that she was gone!! May her weary soul be at peace now..cause life has def not been easy!! I love u sis!!

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, October 28 from 6-8pm at New Life Outreach Church in Fort Gay, WV. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made to Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
