Obituary of Lynda Jay Phelps

Lynda Jay Phelps, 77, of Louisa, KY passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Phelps was born December 18, 1943 in Louisa, Kentucky to the late Jack and Clara Vanhorn Nickell.

She is survived by her husband, Alvin Phelps; one son, Greg (Karen) Nelson; one daughter, Carol (Bobby) Workman; one sister, Betty Shannon; two step-brothers, David Eugene Muncy and Glen Muncy; six granddaughters, Jessica Nelson, Aimee Workman, Annie May, Leslie Nguyen, Ashley Nelson, and Allison Nelson; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was a Secretary.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Workman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, October 30 from Noon until the time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
