Obituary of Sandra Lynn Burchett

Sandra Lynn Burchett, 65, of Louisa, KY passed away December 1, 2021 following a brief illness. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, and a proud mamaw. She was born May 28, 1956 in Lawrence County to the late Ira and Betty Vanhorn.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Benjamin Estill Burchett, maternal grandparents, Dan and Madge Cox, and paternal grandparents, Fred and Noldia Vanhorn. 

She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Burchett, two daughters, Carrie (Keith) Montgomery and Amanda Burchett, of Louisa, KY; five grandchildren, Kasey Montgomery, Chayce Montgomery, Shawna Staten, Levi Greer, Garriet Greer; three great-grandchildren; and a special great-granddaughter, Everleigh Tolliver, whom she adored. 

She leaves behind five sisters, Vickie (Gary) Webb, Marsha Chaffin, Linda (Mike) Barnwell, Teresa (Lonnie) Senters, and Kimberly Salyers; one brother, Edward Pete (Darlene) Vanhorn; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 2PM at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Noah Wilks officiating.  Burial will be in the Burchett Cemetery at Webbville, KY. Friends may visit the family on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 5-9PM at Wilson Funeral Home.  All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
