Obituary of James Phillip Preece

James Phillip “J.P./ Jim Preece," 55, of Louisa, KY passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021. Mr. Preece was born March 4, 1966 in Detroit, Michigan to the late John Henry and Faye Hall Preece.

He is survived by two daughters, Kaela Marie Preece and Jamilyn Faye (Michael) Dean; one brother, John Henry (Laurie) Preece, Jr.; two sisters, Mary Jo (David) Wolford,  and Phyllis Lynn (Keith) Thiede; three grandchildren, Olivia, Jace, and Gracelyn; and his dog, Deuce.  He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.                                                

He was a Truck Driver.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Ralph Muncy officiating. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, December 15 from 4:00 PM until the time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to an addiction recovery facility or homeless shelter near you.  All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
