Obituary of Guinola Burton

Guinola Hill Burton 95 of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2021, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Burton was born April 7, 1926, at Keaton, KY the daughter of the late Marvin and Peggy Dorton Hill. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John Lee Burton Sr., a sister Josephine Osborn, a brother Volnie Hill, and a nephew Jackson Marvin Hill.

Mrs. Burton was a retired Lawrence County School Teacher with over 30 years of service. She taught students at Martha, Blaine, and Louisa.

Survivors include two sons John Lee Burton Jr. and wife Joyce and Joseph Edward Burton; a nephew Harry G. Burton III and wife Judy, and caregivers Teresa Fletcher and Maggie Morgan. The family would like to give a special Thank You to Teresa Fletcher for your love and care for their mother all these years.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 18^th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Jordan and Rev. Emmett Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery Louisa, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday December 18^th from 11:00 am until time of services.
