Obituary of Betty Lou Whalen

Betty Lou Whalen 73 of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Friday December 16, 2021, following a brief illness.

Betty was born February 9, 1948, at Louisa, the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Williamson Dixon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers Ray Dixon and Bill Dixon; and sisters Faye Nelson, Dorothy Brown, Louise Roberts, Virginia Sue Salyer, and Wanda Graves.

Betty was a retired Three Rivers Medical Center dietary employee and she loved the Lord.

Survivors include her loving daughter Wesley Hanshaw and husband Joe; granddaughter Kailey Hanshaw; a sister Ruth Hinkle, and a brother Raymond Dixon Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday December 19^th at 11:00 am at the New Beginnings Community Church with Rev. Steve Ramey officiating. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens Louisa, KY. Friends may visit the family on Saturday December 18^th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the New Beginnings Community Church.
