Obituary of Charles Ray Evans

Charles Ray Evans, 64, of Louisa, KY passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at Pikeville Medical Center. Mr. Evans was born August 31, 1957 in Louisa, Kentucky to the late Roy Edgar and Edith Earlene Blackburn Evans. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Evans and sister, Brenda Gail Evans.

He is survived by his mother Edith (Blackburn) Evans; one son, Eric (Marla) Evans; two sisters, JoAnn (Norman) Daniels and Carol Jean Evans; one grandson, Jackson Evans, and one granddaughter, Sadie Evans.                                         

 He was a Coal Miner.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in the Evans-Ferguson Cemetery.  Friends may visit the family on Thursday, December 30 from 11:00 AM until the time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.
