Obituary of Juanita Borders

Juanita Borders went home to be with the Lord, Monday, February 21, 2022, at home surrounded by family. She was born March 29, 1947, in Louisa, KY. Juanita was the daughter of the late Cecil and Phyllis Price. 

She is survived by two sisters, Gail Boyd and Judy (Mark) Burgess; one brother, Charles (Ruby) Price; and two lifelong best friends, Rita (Bob) Nolen and Debbie Gitchell of Reno, Nevada.  In addition, she is survived by many nieces and nephews, and the loves of her life, Emily and Hayden Borders (her grandchildren).

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace “Peanut” Borders, son, Jeff Borders, and mom and dad, Cecil and Phyllis Price.

She was the proud owner of Dock’s Pizza for twenty plus years.  There she made many friends and was loved by the community. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 1pm at the Richardson Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Meade officiating.  Burial will follow in the Childers Cemetery.  Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, from 5-9pm at the Richardson Primitive Baptist Church.  All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
