Obituary of Norma Jean Moore

Norma Jean Moore, 87, of Lowmansville, KY passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022. Mrs. Moore was born February 8, 1935, in Martin, Kentucky to the late Sampson and Willie Peterman Fugate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Moore; three brothers, Homer Fugate, Archie Fugate, and Roger Fugate; four sisters, Gladys Gearheart, Isabell Scott, Ruby Frazier, and Nora Mays; one daughter-in-law, Debra Moore; and one grandson, Ernie Shaun Moore.

She is survived by two sons, Ernie Cheyenne Moore and Dennis (Layne) Moore; three daughters, Virginia (Ronnie) Thompson, Felica (Bobby) Jordan, and Connie (Larry) Fannin; four sisters, Ella Stone, Sue Hall, Phoebe Fugate, and Linda Fugate; one brother, Orris Fugate; and ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.

She was a Homemaker a member of the Walnut Grove FWB Church for many years.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at the Walnut Grove FWB Church with Rev. Jimmy Vanhoose officiating. Burial will follow in the Hannah-Kirk Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, March 15 after 5:00 PM at the Walnut Grove FWB Church. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.»(Do not delete this line.
