Obituary of Norma F. Brooks

Norma F. Brooks, 85, of Richmond, KY passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Mrs. Brooks was born July 23, 1936, in Huntington, WV to the late John W. and the late Lucy Adams Norris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, August Brooks, Sr., a son, John W. Brooks, and a granddaughter Sheri Spillman.

She is survived by one son, August (Darlene) Brooks Jr.; two daughters, Leann Spillman and Joyce (Bret) Summers; one daughter-in-law, Karen Brooks, eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.                                         

She was a Factory Worker for Owens Illinois and member of Buchannan Chapel Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Workman officiating. Burial will follow in Yatesville Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, March 19 from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
