Obituary of Dwayne Ray Southers

Dwayne Ray Southers, age 54, a veteran of the U.S. Army, passed away on March 15, 2022.  He was born in Holden, WV on July 12, 1967, to the late Shelby and Janice Jones Southers.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ermal and Birdie Southers, and his maternal grandparents, Harley and Vella Ooten Jones. 

He is survived by his wife, Alice Reed Southers, two sons, Dawson and Logan Southers, and sister, Christy Southers (Stephen) Brown.

At the time of his passing, he was employed by House Hasson Hardware of Prichard, WV.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 4pm at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Denny Brown officiating. Burial will follow in The Farm Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, March 19^th from 2pm until the time of services at Wilson Funeral Home.  All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
