Obituary of Mary M. Perry

Mary M. Perry, 87, of Fort Gay, WV passed away Monday, March 28, 2022. Perry was born October 28, 1934, in Wilsondale, West Virginia to the late Owen and May Maynard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Perry, in 2013, and one grandson, Greg Perry.  

She is survived by her three sons, Woodrow (Colleen) Perry Jr., Elias (Shelby) Perry, and Norman Michael (Diana) Perry; two sisters, Verla Marcum and Nary Jane Baisden; six grandchildren, Sherry Perry, Maple, NC, Elias Perry, Jr (Vicky), of Fort Gay, WV, Shane Perry of Crum, WV, Debbie Perry, of Naple, NC, Jeremy Perry, Sr. (Kristina), of South Shore, KY, and Meagan Perry, of Dunlow, WV; ten great grandchildren, Morgan, Ayden, Caitlyn, Jeremy, Jr., Hayden, Rylan, Breanna, Brooklynn, Gavin, and Addison; and one great great granddaughter, Arabella.                                           

She was a Dietician for Wayne County Board of Education and member of Saltpetre Community Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Saltpetre Community Church in Fort Gay, WV with Rev. Richard Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the William Perry Cemetery in Dunlow, WV.  Friends may visit the family on Saturday, April 2 from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Saltpetre Community Church. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
