Obituary of Bill Webb

Bill “June Bug” Webb, 88, of Louisa, KY passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Kings Daughters Medical Center. Mr. Webb was born March 3, 1934, in Buffalo Horn, Kentucky to the late Willie and Julia Hammond Webb. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Phillip Webb, seven sisters, and four brothers. 

He is survived by his loving wife of seventy years, Edna Webb, one daughter, Carlotta (Ervin) Spurlock; one brother, Clell Webb; one sister, Anna Bandy; one grandson, Phillip Adam Webb; and a host of nieces & nephews.                                         

He was a Car & Furniture Salesman and longtime member of New Friendship Church, where he drove the church bus for years. June Bug loved squirrel hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.  He never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Wilson Funeral Home with Elder John Goble officiating. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, April 12 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
