Obituary of Southwell Lyon

Southwell Lyon 89 of Louisa, Kentucky passed away Thursday May 12, 2022, at King’s Daughters Medical Center following a brief illness. 

Southwell was born December 12, 1932, at Salyersville, KY, the son of the late Hassel and Berth Caudill Lyon. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter Judy Ann Lyon and two grandchildren Jeremy  Scott Jenkins and Leann McNew. 

Southwell was a retired self-employed business owner and farmer. 

Survivors include his loving wife Beulah Ward Lyon; his children Beverly (Larry) Tackett, Philip (Kathy) Lyon, Kimberly Lyon, and Diann (Jimmy Lee) Bailey; Grandchildren Joshua Jenkins, Rachel Smith, Richard Lyon, Ray Lyon Jeffrey Litteral, Matthew Bailey, and Timothy Bailey; Several Great Grandchildren; and one Great Great Granddaughter. 

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday May 14th at the Riverview Memorial Gardens with Rev. Vinny Vanhoose officiating.
