Obituary of Barbara McGinnis

Barbara McGinnis, 61, of Marengo, OH passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022, Mount Carmel St. Ann’s. Barbara was born March 31, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio to Clyde and Betty Blackburn Evans. She was preceded in death by one son, Scott Peters, and one brother, Brian Evans.

She is survived by her father, Clyde Evans and mother, Betty (Blackburn) Evans; one daughter, Stephanie Peters; and one son Paul McGinnis. She was also Nana to Kaleb, Jordan, and Mason, and Aunt to Matthew, Stephen, and Jonathan.  

She was a Medical Receptionist for Mount Carmel New Albany.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa, KY with Rev. Chuck Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Friday, June 3 from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
