Obituary of Donna Frances Triplett
Donna Workman Triplett, 69, of Winchester, KY, formerly of Louisa, KY passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY.
Donna was born September 5, 1952 in Louisa, KY, 8th of 12 siblings to Beatrice and Charles Workman. She was a graduate of Louisa High School and Morehead State University with Masters/Rank 1 degrees in elementary education. She taught at Fallsburg Elementary School until her retirement. Donna enjoyed playing softball when she was younger, going to Yatesville lake with friends and family, traveling with her sisters and, more than anything, being with her grandchildren.
Surviving Donna is her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 49 years, Phillip Triplett, their only son, Brock Triplett (Laura) of Lexington, KY and her beloved grandchildren, Caroline (12), Scarlett (8), and Sloane(3). She is also survived by 5 sisters; Sherry Cottle of Berkley, MI, Dinah Sturgill (Mike) of Salinas, CA, Patty Keeth (Tom) of East Point, KY, Karen Brooks of Louisa, KY, Connie Staib (Bob) of Kathleen, GA and 5 brothers; Charles Workman Jr. (Nancy) of Ft. Gay, WV, Jim Workman (Julia) of Elizabethtown, KY, Doug Workman (Marcia) of Ft Worth, TX, Barry Workman (Beverly) of Richmond, KY, Ronnie Workman (Charolette) of Louisa, KY. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews whom loved her and she loved very much. Donna was preceded in death by both of her parents and her brother Billy Joe Workman of Grove City, OH.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa, KY with Rev. Jimmy Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Chaffin Cemetery on Rt. 707. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 6-9 PM at Wilson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made to the Fallsburg Elementary School, In memory of Donna Triplett. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
