Obituary of Brittany Nicole Hammonds

Brittany Nicole Hammonds, 25, of Louisa, KY passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at University of Louisville Jewish Hospital following a brief illness. Brittany was born April 15, 1997, in Huntington, West Virginia to Matthew Hammonds and Lisa Bowens Green.

She is survived by her father, Matthew Hammonds, and mother Lisa (Bowens) Green; one son, Edin Alexander Fitzpatrick; one brother, Daniel Chapman; maternal grandparents, Rabon (Thelma) Bowens; three nephews, Daniel Hansford Chapman, Jr., Eli Chapman, and Rabonn Lucas Chapman; one niece, Nikita Nicole Chapman; and one step- brother, Jason Russell Hammonds.                                         

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 13, 2022, at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Lester officiating. Burial will follow in the Hammonds Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Friday, June 10 from 6-9 PM and on Saturday, June 11 from 6-9 PM. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
