Obituary of Lena Mae Hooser

Lena Mae Hooser 76 of Chillicothe, Ohio formerly of Glenhayes, WV passed away on July 29, 2022, at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.

Lena was born December 9, 1945, at Glenhayes, WV, the daughter of the late Chriss and Lexie Kidd James. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister Elizabeth Frazier and a brother Alfred James. Lena was a retired clerical specialist with the Ohio Department of Taxation.

Survivors include her loving husband, Arthur Hooser; a son and daughter-in-law William and Tammy Hooser; two grandsons Chris Hooser and wife Kat and Cory Hooser; a brother Wallace Ray James and wife Frances; Great Grandchildren Dakota Hooser, Dylan Hooser, Dalton Hooser, and Darlen “Lena” Hooser.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 2^nd at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakin Cemetery on Big Hurricane Road Fort Gay, WV.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday August 2^nd from 11:00 am until time of services at the Wilson Funeral Home.
