Obituary of Glenn Elwood Wellman

Glenn Elwood Wellman, 89, of Fort Gay, WV passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022. Mr. Wellman was born March 19, 1933, in Fort Gay, West Virginia to the late Clarence and Lula Fraley Wellman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Wellman, Jr. and Herman Wellman.

He is survived by his loving wife, Thelma Wellman; one son, Glenn Randall Wellman; and two grandsons, Liam R. Wellman and Tristan R. Wellman.                                                

He was a Factory Worker for BASF and an United States Air Force Veteran.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Denny Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Wellman Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, August 3 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home. All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
